On January 11, attorney for defendant Cassandra Holmes, Jack Skinner, filed a post-contempt hearing brief in the Fred Potter case.In that briefing, Skinner stated after the years of Fredrick R Potter thumbing his nose at the court and the court’s orders, the defendant/trustee respectfully requests that the court order the following relief:
Mayor Keith Greene, City of Alma, Arkansas Proclaims December 26, 2018 as Fredrick Rodney Potter Day in Alma, Arkansas. The day is also Fred’s 89th Birthday.
Fred Potter, a former resident of Waldron, AR, received an award from Secretary of State Mark Martin this week. The award was presented to Potter from Alma Mayor, Keith Greene and recognized Potter’s service in the Marine Corps and Army during the Korean War.
Mayor Doug Kinslow welcomes The Walking Veteran, Thomas Hudson, Fred Potter, and Allen Potter to the City of Greenwood, Arkansas. Fred Potter is a 88 year old Korean War Veteran who served in the Marines, Army, and the Army National Guard. Allen Potter is retired from the US Coast Guard. Present to welcome the veterans to city hall was Tammy Briley, Executive Assistant to The Mayor.
Arkansas Secretary of State, Mark Martin, recognized Fred Potter for his service to his country and for What is Right and Just. Mayor Keith Greene, City of Alma Arknsas had presented the certificate to Fred Potter on behalf of the Secretary of State during a special cerimony in the City of Alma councel chambers.
The Jack and Jill Singers honored Fred Potter, 88 year old Korean War Veteran. Fred had served in the Marines and in the Army. The Jack and Jill Singers are well known for their performances for veterans and in other venues.
On Tuesday morning the “Walking Veteran,” Thomas Hudson, took his cause to the streets of Fort Smith. He rallied support from the Fort Smith Police Department, Sebastian County Sheriff-Elect Hobe Runion and Mayor Sandy Sanders.

The Walking Veteran, Thomas Hudson, and Fred Potter traveled to senic Ozark, Arkansas to bring awareness to JusticeForFredPotter.com. The Walking Veteran is noted for his common moto, “if you don’t talk then you won’t get your message across.” The visit at The Blind Hog next to the Arkansas river gave The Walking Veteran the opportunity to visit with veterans and deliver that message.
